therapy for life transitions and changes

Life transitions can feel like standing at a crossroads—exciting yet uncertain, hopeful yet disorienting. Whether it's becoming a mother, shifting careers, facing an empty nest, going through separation or divorce, entering midlife or perimenopause, or any other big change that reshapes who you are and how you move through the world.

These moments often bring a mix of emotions: grief for what’s ending, anxiety about what’s next, identity questions, overwhelm, or even a quiet sense of loss for parts of yourself that feel left behind.

As women, we tend to carry these shifts deeply—balancing roles, expectations, and inner growth all at once—and it’s completely normal to seek life transitions support to find your footing again.

We use an integrative, personalized approach that meets you exactly where you are, blending proven modalities to support both practical coping and deeper meaning-making. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) provides structured tools to manage the anxiety, rumination, or low mood that often accompany change.

We also incorporate Humanistic-Existential therapy to explore the bigger picture—questions of identity, purpose, authenticity, and personal responsibility. This approach helps you honor what’s ending, rediscover your values, reconnect with your sense of self, and create meaning in this new chapter. It’s especially powerful for women facing role shifts, loss of identity, or the quiet search for “who am I now?”
