Therapy for Burnout & Overwhelm

Online therapy for women feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or emotionally exhausted—offering support across Michigan.

It’s common to feel overwhelmed by the constant demands of daily life—balancing work, relationships, family responsibilities, and the emotional weight of everything happening around you. Many women find themselves carrying a mental load that feels relentless, leading to burnout, anxiety, and emotional exhaustion.

In times like these, it's normal to feel the cumulative weight of everything happening around us—persistent economic uncertainty, worries about finances and job security, anxiety over current events and what the future holds, the quiet burnout from balancing work/life demands, hormonal shifts during perimenopause/menopause that amplify mood changes, or the ongoing ripple effects of global and personal stressors that make it hard to feel truly calm.

As women, we often absorb these layers even more deeply: carrying financial stress while managing family responsibilities, feeling the emotional toll of societal division or uncertainty, or experiencing heightened anxiety about health, relationships, and the world our children inherit.

These feelings—overwhelm, restlessness, low mood, irritability, or a sense of helplessness—are valid responses to real pressures, not signs of weakness. They signal that your nervous system is working overtime, and you deserve compassionate, practical support to regain balance and resilience.

We blend in Humanistic-Existential therapy to explore deeper layers—questions of meaning, personal values, self-worth, and how to live authentically amid chaos. This approach helps you reconnect with what matters most to you, cultivate self-compassion when everything feels overwhelming, and find pockets of hope and agency even when the world feels unpredictable.
