What to Expect in Therapy

Your First Session

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other.


We’ll talk about what’s been bringing you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what you’re hoping for. You don’t need to have everything figured out ahead of time—just showing up is enough.


I may ask some gentle questions to better understand your experience, but you’re always in control of what you share and when.


 A Comfortable, Judgment-Free Space 

 Therapy is a place where you can speak openly without fear of judgment.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, postpartum changes, relationship challenges, or feeling overwhelmed, you’ll be met with compassion and understanding. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you.


How Online Therapy Works 

 All sessions are held virtually, allowing you to attend from the comfort and privacy of your own space.


Online therapy is:

  • Flexible for your schedule
     
  • Accessible anywhere in Michigan


 What We’ll Work On Together 


  •  Therapy is tailored to your unique needs and goals. Together, we may focus on:

  • Processing life transitions, relationships, or postpartum experiences
     
  • Reconnecting with yourself and what matters most to you


 Session Frequency

 Most clients begin with weekly or bi-weekly sessions to build consistency and support. As things progress, we can adjust the pace based on what feels most helpful for you. 


 You Don’t Need to Have It All Figured Out 

It’s okay to come into therapy feeling unsure or overwhelmed. You don’t need the “right words” or a clear plan.


You just need a place to start.
